The RENNtech Power Module (RPM) ECU tune delivers significant horsepower and torque gains across the entire power band. By modifying boost mapping and keeping optimized air-to-fuel ratios, the entire power and torque curve is shifted upward delivering +100 HP +84LB-FT in the 4.0 liter Biturbo V8 engine (M177) Mercedes AMG SL-series, based on Dyno measured power figures.
The RPM is contained in a CNC machined 6061 aluminum case with pre-labeled wires and connectors. The RPM comes with a bypass that can be installed in place of the module for quickly turning the vehicle back to stock. The harness can be uninstalled for returning the vehicle back to stock.
