EVM - Exhaust Valve Module (Remote Controlled)
NOT SO FUN FACT:
Mercedes-Benz and AMG cars equipped with factory exhaust valves, with or without a center console button to open or close them, the factory settings do NOT allow the valves to fully open unless certain speed and/or RPM have been reached. For example, while cruising the exhaust valves will never fully open!
THE EVM SOLUTION:
By pressing Button 1 on the remote control, RENNtech’s Exhaust Valve Module (EVM) allows you to open the exhaust valves 100% at all times. If you wish to go back to factory settings simply press Button 2. This gives you complete control over the exhaust valves regardless of speed, RPM or driving mode, adding sound and rumble to your car.

Note:
I took a chance in my gtc to see how easy install and if a good option to modify exhaust. Pleasantly surprised. I had an rs7 before and on my sports exhaust you could buy stay open flap modules plug play not computerized but always open for $150 but was just two modules . This is high quality harness and high quality remotes and took only 10-15 installed and changed the exhaust note for sure . No more switching to sport plus or racing for flaps open and then only 75% so now always 100% just perfect . Super pleased and would recommend.
So it was easy to follow directions but for the gtc you need to do this. Get a 3/8 5/8 bolt and washer to attach to the bolt hole in the floor for the ground. If you don't the module will throw errors and will not get the car started. So once that was done I also did not know that when you take out the 10amp fuse to install it on the fuse holder with the added fuse that comes with kit. I just took it out placed new in holder and figured out that the 10amp fuse also needs to be out on to the fuse holder that comes with the kit. Once everything figured out took a total of 10 min to install but was a day until I figured out the missing instructions of the two easy parts. The ground bolt is same size on all gts gtc grr so for $0.15 could have been included in the kit .
Also a note to put the removed 10amp in the kit would have solved a day.
Other than that great.
