RENNtech Power Module (RPM) ECU -tune increases horsepower and torque across the entire power band. By modifying ignition timing, throttle mapping, optimizing air-to-fuel-ratios of the 4.0-liter BiTurbo V8 -engine (M177) found in the Mercedes-AMG SL-series of vehicles.
The RPM is contained in a CNC machined 6061 aluminum case with pre-labeled wires and connectors. The RPM comes with a bypass that can be installed in place of the module for quickly turning the vehicle back to stock. The harness can be uninstalled for returning the vehicle back to stock.

From the factory, the SL 55 AMG is delivered with 489 HP and 582 TQ. With the RENNtech RPM, the performance numbers go up to 579 HP and 700 TQ, gaining up to +90 HP and +106 TQ.
